Our story

Built on family. Driven by craft.

My family moved to San Diego in 2002, and my dad went to work in construction. Over the years he built residential additions, commercial additions, and remodels across the county, and I spent many of my summer breaks on his jobsites learning the trade from the ground up. I have loved this work ever since.

The project that made it my career came in 2018, when we added an ADU to our own home. I managed it from A to Z: working with the architect and engineers, keeping the schedule, and solving the problems no drawing can predict. That project taught me what homeowners really need from a builder: clear answers, an honest schedule, and someone who owns the result.

That is how Modern Edge works today. Nothing beats walking a client through a finished space and seeing they are genuinely happy with the workmanship and with how quickly it came together. That is the energy we build for.
